Construction work of buildings of 27 govt colleges is going on

Chandigarh, Feb 24 (UNI) Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal informed that at present the construction work of the buildings of 27 Government colleges is going on and the construction work of the 6 colleges will be started soon.
The Education Minister shared this while replying to a starred question asked by an MLA during the question hour in the ongoing budget session in Haryana Vidhan Sabha, here on Monday.
He informed that at present there are 157 Government Colleges in the State out of which 11 colleges have been established in the Rewari district. He also informed that the construction of Government College for boys in Rewari will be started soon and for which 5 acres of land has been given by Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran to Higher Education Department. An administrative approval of Rs 12 crore has also been received for the construction of this college building and the construction will be started soon, he added.
