New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) The Bill to grant Constitutional status to Other Backward Classes was today referred to the Select Committee of the Rajya Sabha. The Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot moved a resolution to the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty Third Amendment) Bill, 2017 to a select committee of the Rajya Sabha consisting of 25 members. The Committee to be chaired by Bhupender Yadav, will submit its report by the last day of the first week of the next session.
