Congress Yatras, an attempt to reach out to people of UP: Ghulam Nabi Azad

New Delhi, Sep 17 (UNI) Describing the ‘yatras’ being conducted by the Congress in Uttar Pradesh as a ‘huge success’, senior Congress leader and AICC general secretary incharge for UP Ghulam Nabi Azad today said the ‘yatras’ were an attempt to reach out to the people of the state.
''The three ‘yatras’- the ‘kisan yatra’ being carried out by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, the Yatra being carried out by UP PCC chief Raj Babbar and the ‘bus yatra’ being led by UP CM candidate for the Congress Sheila Dikshit- are an attempt to reach out to the people of the state.
''Through the medium of these ‘yatras’, we are bringing the leader of the Congress party to the doors of the people of the state,'' Mr Azad told reporters here

New Delhi, April 23 (UNI) A Special Court in Delhi on Tuesday extended judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha till May 7 in the Delhi Excise Policy case.
They were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
