Congress will form govt in Assam, says Gogoi

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) With a few days left for the Assam Assembly results to be out, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today said the Congress party led by him in the state would win majority seats and form the government for the fourth consecutive term.
"Congress will definitely get majority seats and cross the magic number of 64 to form the government in Assam," the Chief Minister said speaking on the sidelines of the launch of his book titled 'Turnaround-Leading Assam from the front' here.
Assam has 126 seats in the Assembly for which pollings were held in two phases in the state, last month.
