Puducherry, Sep 22 (UNI) The Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee will issue applications on Monday to those who desire to contest the October 21 by-election for the Kamaraj Nagar assembly constituency here.
PCC president A Namasivayam in a statement on Sunday said that the Congress party will be contesting the elections in the UPA alliance and any member of the Puducherry Pradesh congress committee could get the application from the party head quarters here on Monday.
A fees of Rs 10,000 for men and Rs 5000 for women would be collected from the aspirants.
