Congress protests against non-payment of dues to sugarcane farmers

Dina Nagar, Jun 8 (UNI) Congress workers, led by Punjab Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh, staged a massive dharna here today against the non-payment of dues to the sugarcane farmers in the state.
Addressing the gathering, Capt Singh appealed to the farmers not to commit suicides and wait for a few months till his party comes into power. He said once in power, he would set everything
right.
