Congress policies drove Hyderabad’s growth, says Revanth Reddy, seeks support in Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad, Nov 9 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that the development model laid down during the tenures of former Chief Ministers N Chandrababu Naidu and Y S Rajasekhara Reddy continues to guide the state, particularly in the growth of Hyderabad’s IT and Pharma sectors.
Speaking at a “Meet the Press” programme organised by the Hyderabad Press Club in Jubilee Hills on Sunday, he said Hyderabad became a hub for GCCs, data centres and global institutions because of decisions taken by successive Congress governments.
He cited Shamshabad Airport, the Outer Ring Road, and the establishment of central institutions in the city as examples of long-term planning that shaped Hyderabad into a knowledge and technology hub. “Between 2004 and 2014, Congress governments at the Centre and in the state worked together for Hyderabad’s development,” he said.
