Congress party to stage phase wise agitation over rising petrol and LPG prices

Ranchi, Feb 23 (UNI) The Congress party in Jharkhand has decided to stage phase-wise agitation against the rising prices of petrol and LPG.
As part of the agitation on February 25 across all the district headquarters, press conferences would be organised in which the party will highlight the anti-people policies of the central government while on February 26 across all district headquarters torchlight procession would be taken out. On February 27 at district headquarters dharna would be staged while in the state capital a state-level dharna will be staged by the party.

Central Investigating team to visit Meghalaya to follow up corruption charges

Shillong, Mar 4 (UNI)A Central investigating team would be visiting Meghalaya’s Garo Hills to follow up on the corruption charges leveled against officials of Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC.)
“A central inspection team would be visiting Garo Hills and they would be scrutinising documents,” state BJP president Ernest Mawrie said on Thursday.
