Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jun 7 2016 1:52PM Congress MLA resigned from assembly, apply to join in CPI-MAgartala, Jun 7 (UNI) Congress MLA Jitendra Sarkar, who resigned from the Tripura assembly, has applied for membership in the CPI(M).Sarkar won the 2013 election on a Congress ticket with a narrow margin from the prestigious Barjala constituency of Agartala. He had been in the CPI-M party since 1968.
