Congress Ministers ready to sacrifice their position: Shivakumar

Bengaluru, Jan 19(UNI) Senior Congress Ministers in the JD(S)-Coalition government are ready to sacrifice their post and to step down from the Cabinet to pave way for other MLAs, Minister for Water Resources D K Shivakumar said on Saturday.
Speaking to newsmen here, he said that “as loyal party workers, all the Ministers from the Congress are ready to tender their resignation and make way for the disgruntled MLAs if directed by the party High Command”.
Recalling that in the past, despite getting elected to the Legislative Assembly several time, he was kept out of the Cabinet, he said that “I had to shut my mouth, respecting the decision of the party High Command”.
