Congress leaders welcome to join: K'taka BJP

Hubballi, Dec 8 (UNI) Claiming that many Congress leaders were unhappy with the current state of the grand old party, BJP state President Nalin Kumar Kateel on Sunday said that they were welcome to join the saffron party.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Kateel justified the decision of giving party tickets to the disqualified MLAs, saying that it was the right thing to do. The party high command would decide on whether the disqualified MLAs would get Ministries or not, he added.
The BJP state chief clarified that BJP government in Karnataka did not ask the disqualified MLAs to join, but they had willingly joined the party, so the party did justice to them by giving them tickets.
