Congress leaders out in street to impose bandh against price rise

Imphal, Sep 10 (UNI) Congress leaders shouted slogans against price rise in the market areas and main roads of Imphal and other parts of the state. Former CM, O Ibobi, former Dy CM, Gaikhangam, Bhubaneshwar Kalita, AICC observer, Dr Vijay Laxmi Sadho, Secretary AICC, MLAs and larger numbers of Congress workers were supporting the Bharat Bandh today by shouting slogans on the streets.

Large numbers of people including women protested the rise in prices of essential commodities, petroleum products, LPG. The common people were hit hard by the rise in prices it was added.
