Congress leader Rajiv Tyagi cremated

Ghaziabad, Aug 13 (UNI) Congress leader and party spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi's last rites were performed at Hindon here on Thursday morning.
Tyagi had passed away on Wednesday, following a cardiac arrest. He was 52.
His elder son Ishant performed the last rites, in presence of limited family members and friends at around 1000 hrs.

Chandigarh, Sep 19 (UNI) In a bid to further strengthen the road network in Haryana and enhance the convenience of commuters, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday approved spending of Rs 183.31 crore on the construction and improvement of 60 roads and up-gradation of three roads to pavement roads, covering 15 districts.

Jammu, Sep 19 (UNI) Asserting that drones were being used by the Pakistani agencies and it's sponsored terror outfits to supply arms, ammunition and drugs inside the territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of Police Dibag Singh said here on Saturday that three terrorists of Lashkar-e-Toiba were arrested with the cache of weapons, dropped by drone in Rajouri district.

COVID: Centre will monitor Jammu situation, team of experts to remain in touch with medical professionals on daily basis: Jitendra

Jammu, Sep 19 (UNI) Expressing concern over Jammu having earned the dubious distinction of recording one of the lowest COVID recovery rate of 43 per cent in the country, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Saturday said that the Centre will monitor Jammu COVID situation on daily basis and the Central team of experts will remain in touch with medical professionals in Jammu on day-to-day basis, apart from providing regular tele-consultation facility from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, till such time as the pandemic situation improves in the region.
