Congress leader distributes food items in remote areas of Shahpur

Kangra, Mar 30 (UNI) Congress leader Kewal Singh Pathiania on Monday along with some youth Congress workers and ex-servicemen visited different areas of Shahpur constituency and provided free ration and vegetables to the needy people at their door step.
People fearing the outbreak of Coronavirus in the state are shut in their homes following a lockdown imposed by the government some people in the remote areas of Shahpur assembly segment were craving for essential commodities, said Pathania.

He said that due to curfew across the state, the prices of food items have hiked and poor people and particularly the daily wagers were unable to buy food, ration and vegetables.

District administration and doctors are making a lot of efforts but some people in the remote areas of the Shahpur are still suffering for ration, food and medicines, he said.

Pathania asked people to remain indoors and during the curfew relaxation should maintain social distance. He suggested people the people to follow the instructions of the government.
Congress party, the administration, doctors, paramedical staff, police, and other social service organizations were united to face the coronavirus crisis in the state, he added.
