Congress leader demands death penalty for beheading tailor in Udaipur

Patna, June 29 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and former Bihar Minister Shamaele Nabi on Wednesday strongly condemned the beheading of a tailor in Udaipur and demanded the death penalty for both the accused involved in ghastly incident.
Nabi, also president of Bihar unit of All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat said that the beheading of a tailor in Udaipur on Tuesday was a ghastly and abhorrent incident which should be condemned by all. The death penalty should be awarded to both the accused in the case by completing the hearing through speedy trial as they had accepted their guilt, he added.
" All Muslims are feeling ashamed over the incident", Nabi said adding that Islam strongly believed in non-violence, love and living with the spirit of brotherhood. Such ghastly incident could never be accepted in any civilised society, he noted.
