Panaji, Jul 17 (UNI) Goa Congress may knock the door of judiciary after proper studay of the manner in which its ten rebel MLAs quit party and joined ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) last week.
Addressing a press conference at party state headquarters in the city, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar said the party was considering moving court after studying the matter.
'We are considering moving Court after studying the issue," he said.
Mr Chodankar also said that though had resigned from the post of GPCC President but would continue to discharge his duties as State Party President as his resignation was yet to be accepted.
'Since my resignation has not been accepted yet, I will continue discharging my duties as state president,' the former All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary said.
Mr Chodankar had tendered his resignation along with other Congress leaders across the country expressing solidarity with Congress President Rahul Gandhi.
