Congress has no strong candidate who can become Prime Minister: Yeddyurappa

Belagavi, Dec 26 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa today underlined that Congress has no strong candidate who can become the next Prime Minister.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Yeddyurappa expressed confidence of Narendra Modi continuing as Prime Minister after General Election due in May 2019. " BJP led NDA will get majority in the next Lok Sabha election and Mr Modi will again become Prime Minister. In Karnataka we will win all the 28 seats," he added.
Replying to a question, Mr Yeddyurappa clarified that former Minster and Congress MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi has not contacted him. "No Congress MLAs have contacted me and there is no proposal before me to contact Congress or any other party MLAs. We don’t like to form the government now, we will work as opposition party."
