Bengaluru, May 25(UNI) Desipite debacle faced by coalition partners Congress-JDS in the Lok Sabha Polls, both the parties have decided to continue their tie-up in Karnataka.
Leaders of both the alliance parties, who had held an intensive parleys after the shocking defeat in the Lok Sabha election, on Friday, decided to bury their differences if any and work together and thwart the Opposition BJP’s effort to topple the one-year-old Coalition government in the State.
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, who is also JD(S) Working President in the State, held a late-night meeting with the former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and discussed about continuing to hold the fort together amidst the perceived threat to the stability of the alliance government from the BJP.
