Congress demands sacking of Jivesh Mishra

Patna, July 12 (UNI) The Congress party today demanded immediate dismissal of Urban Development Minister Jivesh in a case related to the manufacture and distribution of substandard and spurious medicines.
Congress national spokesperson and Chairperson of Congress’ Social Media and Digital Platforms, Supriya Shrinate while talking to news persons here at the Congress headquarters launched a scathing attack on the JDU-BJP-led NDA government in Bihar and accused the state government of shielding a convicted minister. Calling it an "attack on public trust and human lives,"
Shrinate said that Ciproline-500 tablets manufactured by the Alto Health Care Private Limited, a pharmaceutical company, of which Mishra is a director, failed to meet the prescribed quality standards and was found to be adulterated and misleadingly branded.

Imphal, July 11 UNI : A few abandoned houses of residents belonging to the Meitei community near a security encampment at a village in Imphal West district were burnt on Saturday by a mob of Kuki miscreants evoking wide spread condemnations.
Two persons were apprehended for their alleged involvement in the incident, inviting condemnation from Chief Minister Y Khemchand, his predecessor N Biren and others.
