Congress cautions Election Commission to use Bihar poll as Covid 19 experiment

Pàtna, Aug 11(UNI) Congress today cautioned Election Commission against any attempt of treating Bihar as Covid 19 experiment case for holding Assembly Elections, saying it would be criminal lapses on the part of Commission to put at risk lives of millions of people of the state.
Congress MLC Prem Chandra Mishra said here that statement of Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora that Assembly Elections in Bihar would be held as per schedule.
When Covid 19 cases in Bihar had increased so much in last three weeks but despite such a prevailing scenario in state, the statement of Chief Election Commissioner on holding Assembly Elections in Bihar on scheduled time, was frustrating, he noted.
