Hamirpur (HP), Oct 4 (UNI) Union Information and Broadcasting Minister, Anurag Thakur said on Tuesday that the Congress party always ignored the ideologies of the architect of Indian constitution, Dr. BR Ambedkar and it was the BJP that was following his (Dr. Ambedkar's) footsteps in a real sense and working for the Dalits and depressed people.
Thakur said this during a Dalit sammelan of the BJP at Patlander village today. BJP MP, Sikandar Kumar was also present on this occasion.
The Union Minister, while paying homage to Baba Bhim Rao Ambedkar, said that if the country was running today, all credit went to him for making the constitution.
