Panaji, Sep 22 (UNI) The Congress in Goa on Sunday accused the state government of messing up the online employment exchange registration process and demanded that the errors be corrected failing which the party would the party would be forced to lodge a complaint with Director General of Employment and Training, New Delhi.
Addressing a press conference at party state headquarters in the city, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar claimed that notification from Labour and Employment dated February 2, 2019, on online service said that Goa Government was transferring from manual to online registration and in accordance with Employment Exchange Service Manual but it was without providing any rules and regulations.
He said the same notification said that data of all the registrant all the registrants of Employment Exchange Goa had been migrated on the portal and needed to be activated by registrants with valid employment card number by February 28, 2019 but it was false as the candidates who had visited the government website and those who visited Labour and Employment site and entered their valid registered card number found that only their name and birth date were migrated.
