Cong wrests Telangana from BRS, 2nd state in southern in 2023

Hyderabad, Dec 3 (UNI) The Congress has wrested Telangana from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party by achieving a resounding majority in 2023 assembly elections to form the government in the state.
With this, Telangana becomes the second southern state in Congress’ kitty in 2023 after it emerged triumph in Karnataka recently.
As per the ECI data, Congress won 64 seats, BRS -39, BJP-8, AIMIM-7 and CPI-1
