Cong to observe relay hunger protest against police action on farmers in Delhi

Tirupati, Jan 27 (UNI) Former Union Minister and Special Representative in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) from Andhra Pradesh Chinta Mohan on Wednesday said the BJP goons were responsible for whatever happened around the Red Fort on Republic Day in Delhi on Tuesday and not the farmers.
In a statement issued here, Dr Moham condemned the police action against the farmers, in which one farmer died and blamed the vandalism at Red Fort as part of conspiracy by the BJP to defame and malign the peaceful agitation of the ryots', against the draconian farm laws.
Congress will stage a relay hunger fast on January 30 across the country on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, to protest against the BJP government's atrocities on the farmers in which so far, over 200 innocent farmers had died in their 63-day-long agitation.
