Cong to approach ECI afresh over voters' list: Kamal Nath

Bhopal, June 11 (UNI) Expressing dissatisfaction with the report of the Election Commission of India (ECI) over irregularities in the voters' list, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath today said that the party would approach the Commission again with evidence.
“The party had lodged the complaint on the basis of electoral list of January 1, 2018. Officials admitted that anomaly took place and they are rectifying it. Now, they are claiming that everything is all right,” Mr Nath told media here.
Recently, the Congress had complained about irregularities in the voters' list to the ECI, which found it to be wrong.
Pointing out that the Congress has promised to waive loans of farmers, he said that the party would welcome if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government announces a waiver now, as the Congress has only the welfare of farmers in mind.
Mr Nath said that the draft of party's manifesto is ready and would be released shortly.
Slamming BJP Vice-President Prabhat Jha, he said that he should first win an election before raising questions over his victory.
