Cong targets RSS ahead of meet

Bhopal, Oct 6 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh's political temperature rose today with the principal-opposition Congress raising questions vis-a-vis the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's soon-to-be-held national executive meeting in the state capital.

“I have learnt that BJP leaders are also to attend the gathering. Though RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohanrao Bhagwat claimed recently in the national capital that neither does the Sangh manage the BJP nor vice versa, it is often observed that saffron party bigwigs are present at RSS meetings. Is not the RSS adopting double standards?” Congress state Chief Spokesperson KK Mishra told media.

Pointing out that the Sangh is projected as a cultural organisation, he said that he desired to know what the RSS viewed as actual definitions of nationalism, patriotism and Hindutva.
