Cong staged massive protest at Shimla against the price rise

Shimla, Nov 14 (UNI) Opposition Congress today staged a massive protest at Deputy Commissioner Office against the hike in prices of LPG, Onion, Petrol and Diesel and other commodity.
The protest was presided by the All India Congress Secretary Ms Rajani Patil, Party co-incharge Mr Nana Patole Congress state president Mr Kuldeep Singh Rahtore , Party leader in the state assembly Mr Mukesh Agnihotri and MLA Mr Dhani Ram Shandil, Mr. Ram Lal Thakur, Mr. Mohan Bragta, Mr Vinay Singh , Mr Anirudh Singh and Mr Vikaramaditya Singh and other senior party leader and hundreds of workers.
Addressing the massive protest meeting addressed by Ms Patil outside the Deputy Commissioner office at
Shimla she said that Modi government is running the antipeople policy as the wrong decisions and economic
blunder left the Economy in worst ever crisis.
She said that wrong decisions taken by the Modi government including Demonetisation and GST forced the number of people to loss their jobs and unemployment is record level.
She said that world agencies are downgrading the GDP figure of after failure of Modi Government to
handle the state of economic and further ruined the national economy after making number of blunders in last six years.
She said that after electing to power Jai Ram Thakur Government is enjoying the powers and imposing number of decisions on the common people. She said that State Government hiked the VAT charges on the Petrol and Diesel in the state and making wastage of public funds by spending on the Global Investor Meets which rather turned up major flop show.
She said that State government is trying to own up number of project signed by the former Virbhadra Singh as it singed number of investment projects which were already signed by the past governments.
She lashed out the BJP to trying to blow the emotional issues like Ram Mandir and Hindustan Pakistan relation to divert the attention of people from the basic issues of development, Bank scams, closing down of small and medium industries and massive unemployment and loss of jobs.
Mr Rathore thanked the part activists to take party ten days long protest throughout the state district headquarters against the Anti people policy of Modi and Jai Ram Government.
