Cong slams Bihar govt for failing to control Encephalitis

New Delhi, June 17 (UNI) The Congress on Monday charged the BJP and JD(U) Government in Bihar of failing to check deaths due to Encephalitis.
Reacting to reports of Bihar health minister Mangal Pandey undue interest in knowing about cricket score rather than the situation due to encephalitis, AICC media incharge Randeep Surjewala said,’’Bihar health minister from the BJP, Mangal Pandey seems more interested in knowing about cricket scores rather than death of children due to Encephalitis.
The government should know that till now 126 deaths have occurred due to encephalitis. This includes 104 in Muzaffarpur, 12 in Vaishali, two each in Motihari and Sitamarhi and five in Samastipur.’’
