Bengaluru, Jan 19 (UNI) Accusing Home Minister Amit Shah of addressing a rally at Hubli in Karnataka, just for the sake of vote bank politics and to give publicity to the CAA, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday said the Union Minister did not utter a single word on the long-pending Kalasa-Banduri Nala water project, which was much-needed for the farmers in this region.
Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Kharge alleged that BJP was only interested in the implementation of CAA and not worried about the poor people and farmers. Besides, there was no word on the flood-affected people, he pointed out.
Referring to opposing the CAA, terming them anti-Dalit, he said BJP has no concern for the Dalits and was speaking only to gain sympathy from them.
