Cong releases second list of eight candidates for Himachal Assembly polls

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) The Congress on Sunday released its second list of 8 candidates for the November 9 Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh. The list cleared by the Central election committee of the Congress and released by AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandez, includes the names of Kewal Singh Pathania from Shahpur, Ashish Bulail from palampur, Hari Chand Sharma from Manali, Surender Singh Thakur from Kullu, Lakhwinder Rana from Nalagarh and Deepak Rathore from Theog. The Congress has replaced Bansi Lal as its candidate from Anni-SC, choosing Paras Ram in his place. The Congress on Thursday had released its first list of 59 candidates for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly polls. Elections to the 68 member Himachal Pradesh Assembly are scheduled on November 9.
