Cong raise issue of demolition of Ravidass temple in Delhi

Shimla, Aug 23(UNI) Opposition Congress on Friday raised the issue of demolition of Ravidass temple in national capital recently and protest lodged by the Dalit community against the demolition in state assembly today.
The issue figured in state assembly after the question hour when Congress legislative party leader Mukesh Agnihotri raised this issue drawing the attention of house towards this problem.
Mr Agnihotri said that it is unfortunate that people belonged to minority and Dalit community are facing apathy of a section of society which was given free hand to by the ruling BJP. He pointed out that many people belonged to Dalit community went to NCR from Una, Bilaspur and others area to show solidarity with the protesting people against the demolition.
