Cong Plenary session to be held from Mar 16 to 18 in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 17 (UNI) The plenary session of the AICC, to ratify the election of Mr Rahul Gandhi as Congress president and lay out a forward vision for the party, will be held from March 16 to 18 in Delhi.
A decision in this regard was taken on Saturday at the first meeting of the party’s Steering Committee, formed by the Congress president on Friday after dissolving the Central Working Committee.
Talking to reporters here after the meeting of the Steering Committee, AICC media incharge Randeep Surjewala said,''the steering committee, that was chaired by Congress president Rahul Gandhi and attended by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh besides other leaders like A K Antony, Ahmed Patel, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge , decided that the plenary session of the party will be held on March 16, 17 and 18 in Delhi.''
