Cong leader Adhir Chowdhury demands alliance with Left to stop BJP in Bengal

Kolkata, Feb 28 (UNI) Pradesh Congress Committee president Adhir Ranjan Chwodhury today advocated for a real electoral alliance with the Left Front or else, he said, the road to BJP's victory in West Bengal will be more easy and widened further.
Addressing the reporters at the party headquarters, here, the former Railways minister Mr Chowdhury said both the leadership of Congress and Left Front should set aside their petty differences and start a meaningful electoral alliance or else the BJP would emerge as the beneficiary.
He said for a start both the Congress and Left Front should pick a common candidate and fight the Rajya Sabha poll together, if necessary as an independent candidate supported by them.
