New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) Workers of BJP and Congress staged a protest outside residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, holding him responsible for the ongoing water and electricity crisis in the national capital. BJP state President Satish Upadhyay, who was leading saffron party workers, alleged that though Mr Kejriwal was busy in expanding his party in other states such as Goa and Punjab, he was completely ignoring people’s woes. Raising banners and slogans against the Delhi ruling Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP workers demanded the government must immediately ensure adequate supply of water and electricity to provide respite to people. Not just BJP demonstrated outside CM’s residence, the women’s wing of the Delhi Pradesh Congress led by Delhi Mahila Congress president, Barkha Shukla Singh, also staged a demonstration outside his residence. Ms Singh alleged that water and power, the two basic necessities, was not available for people for two days at a stretch and that Mr Kejriwal must be ashamed for this. Police had to use water cannons to disperse the mob. Many parts of the capital are witnessing shortage of water and electricity for past few weeks. UNI RG PS PM0137
