Cong accuses Minister’s son of graft

Bhopal, Mar 20 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh’s principal-opposition Congress today alleged that Minister of State for Water Resources Harsh Singh’s son misused his official position for unduly benefitting a relative. “Satna District’s Rampur Baghelan Council Chairman Vikram Singh obtained Rs 27 lakh in excess of the actual price vis-à-vis unauthorised sale of land that belonged to his mother Madhavi Singh. The plot was purchased for expanding a bus stand. A rate of Rs 11,000 per square metre was paid instead of the Rs 2,600 per sq m as stated in the Collector’s Guidelines,” Congress state Chief Spokesperson KK Mishra told journalists here.
