Conditions favourable for cessation of Northeast Monsoon rains in AP from Jan 26

Amaravati, Jan 26 (UNI) Conditions are becoming favourable for the cessation of Northeast Monsoon rains over Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, adjoining areas of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka from January 26, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
A daily weather report here said that shallow fog or mist is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on January 30 and 31.
