New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) Expressing concern over the rapid spread of coronavirus infection in the country, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday said that situation is not conducive right now to end the lockdown.
Addressing a press conference, Mr Gehlot, while acknowledging that the 21-day lockdown is having adverse impact on the economy in the country, however, said that it is equally important to protect people from the pandemic and hence in the present situation, removing the lockdown will not be correct.
He said that the stance of the government on ending the lockdown after April 14 is not yet clear and the states have different views on the issue.
