Pakur, Oct 19 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday said Santhal Pargana region and Littipada, in particular, had been at the focus of the developmental efforts of his government to make the area figure among the developed blocks of the country.

Speaking at a Jan Chaupal meeting at Nawadih Maidan, he said Littipada was the most backward block which prompted him to establish direct contact with the people to ensure quick resolution of problems and develop schemes according to the needs of the people.
Referring to Yojana Banao Abhiyaan and Jan Chaupal initiatives, he said the schemes were conceived with the objective to set up direct contact with the people and added that awareness among the people about the government schemes ensured their success.
