Colour of passport does not change ties of blood: PM tells Indian diaspora

The Hague, June 27 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today invited the Indian diaspora to bond with their motherland, and said he would love to work with them for the development of the country.
''The colours of our passport may be any, but our ties are that of blood and our ties are special. We worship the same land,'' Mr Modi said here addressing a strong crowd of Indians living here.
Mr Modi said India was changing fast and he wanted them to visit the country and see this change. Noting that many Indian in Netherlands did not have OCI cards, he urged them to have one.
