College student dies in a road mishap

Kendrapara, Aug 14 (UNI) In a tragic incident one college student died on the spot and another sustained critical injury when a speeding truck collided head-on with their two-wheeler near Jamdhar chowk on Cuttack-Chandabali road today.


The accident occurred when the students were returning home from their tuition.


Police identified the deceased as Goutam Sahu of Patkura village. The injured, Debadutta Das, was rushed to SCB medical college and hospital, Cuttack in a critical condition.

Angry public assaulted the driver who was seriously injured and admitted to the hospital in a critical condition.
