Cold winds sweep north India; Rain likely from Monday: Met Dept

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Icy winds swept north India on Saturday, dipping the mercury at several places.
Karnal in Haryana recorded a low of 2.5 degrees Celsius.
After passing over snow-capped peaks in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the winds were reaching the region, making the people shiver, India Meteorological Department said.
