Coalition government in Karnataka giving more priority for tourism: Minister

Belagavi, Dec 12 (UNI) Karnataka government is giving more priority to development of tourist places in the State including spots in North Karnataka, said tourism minister Said S R Mahesh.
Speaking to media persons here today after the inauguration of "Paragliding event" at Rajahamsgad Fort the highest peak in the district near Yellur outskirts of Belagavi city today he said the State government was concentrating on important heritage spots like Hampi and Badami in North Karnataka and taken up various works to improve facilities for tourists. This included improved road connectivity and other civic amenities.
Ihole and Pattadakallu were the other heritage sites where government had taken up new projects in the region, he said.
