CM's morale boosting surprise visit to Check post: Fleeing Migrant workers transported back

Gangtok,Mar 31 (UNI) Chief Minister PS Tamang paid a surprise visit to Rangpo Check post,the main entry point to East Sikkim and met all the para medicos, police personnel and others posted there.
He took stock of the services being rendered for enforcing lock down in the border town and screening details of commuters. The chief minister inspected the quarantine unit functioning at Rangpo mining.
Mr Tamang appreciated the workforce posted at Rangpo for having screened 5,98,731 people from January 20 till now for any symptoms of virus.
