CM Chamling wants to make Sikkim most developed & wealthy in 2019

Gangtok, Dec 31 (UNI ) Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling today wished happy new year to all. ‘As another year comes to a close and we set to usher in the new year, let us renew our collective vows to build a more prosperous and peaceful Sikkim. May this New Year be another step in the journey of Sikkim’s progress, prosperity and development!’, said Chief Minister, wishing public.
‘The transformation that Sikkim has undergone in the last twenty five years did not happen by accident. Once one of the most backward states, we inherited the difficult task of reconstructing and reshaping Sikkim through a collective effort involving much blood, sweat and tears. The chaos and disorganization at every level was overcome with great care and tremendous struggle.’
'Sikkim must continue to rise. We have freed Sikkim from the chords of poverty, hunger, illiteracy and unemployment. Our goal now is to channel that success as we seek to make Sikkim the most developed, wealthy, happy and prosperous state. I wish our mission will continue to foster in the New Year too,’ he added.
