CM Biplab Deb holds 'Janatar Darbar' in remote village with representatives and officials

Ambassa(Tripura), Nov 30(UNI) In a move to reach out to the people residing in the remote areas, the chief minister along with state minister Manoj Kanti Deb, representatives and officials held 'Janatar Darbar' in the remote Dhanyaram Karbari Para in Chawmanu in the bordering subdivision of Longthoraivalley in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb along with Youth Affairs and Sports and Food Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, MLA Asis Das, MLA Parimal Debbarma, MLA Shambhulal Chakma and top officials of the state administration and district administration reached the area.
Local people told the chief minister about their problems of potable water, education, electricity, transportation, food and work.
He heard the problems attentively and instructed the officials to redress their issues at the earliest possible time.
The Chief Minister also distributed assistance in cash and kind to the people who were in serious need under the active government schemes.
The initiative is an effort of the government to transform the state into a model of good governance and also to ensure sustainable livelihood for all.
"In this venture, we are progressing towards success in a steady pace. But the cooperation of the rank and file and the collaboration among the administration and the administered are a must," reiterated the Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
Local people expressed their happiness over the Chief Minister's initiative as they could express their difficulties and vent their anguish in front of him.
