CM approves appointments Trust Patiala and Kotkapura

Chandigarh, May 27 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today approved the appointment of Mr Vishnu Sharma and Mr Darshan Singh Thekedar as Chairman of the Improvement Trust, Patiala and Kotkapura respectively.
Stating this today, a spokesperson of the chief minister’s office said that Mr Badal cleared the file to this effect this evening. The formal orders related to these appointments would be issued by the Local Government department shortly.
Meanwhile, Mr Badal also gave nod to extend the term of Mr Satish Kumar Dhanda as the vice chairman of the medium industries development board for one year that ended on March 1, 2016.
