Rail police here said the train ran over a section of damaged tracks between Akbarnagar and Sultanganj stations, catching railway employees unawares. Later, when they noticed the damaged tracks, they immediately informed higher authorities. A team of senior railway engineers from Bhagalpur and Jamalpur rushed to the spot and repaired the damaged tracks.
