FIR registered against DSE and others for irregularities in MDM funds

Pakur, Dec 21 (UNI) An FIR has been registered today at the Amrapada Police Station area of this district against the than district superintendent of education and couple of others for mismanagement of funds worth Rs 27 lakh meant for the mid day meal scheme.
On the statement of the present DSE Pakur Rajaram Sah fir has been registered at Amrapada Police Station in case number 59/17 under sections 420, 409 and 120 B of the IPC against the than DSE Arun Kumar, teacher Shravan Das and clerk Ajay Kumar Bhandari. The trio have been accused of withdrawing a sum of Rs 27 lakh meant for the mid day meal scheme of Jamugadia Middle School in the year 2015.
In the complaint it has been said that during the separate months of the year 2015 the trio who collaborated with each other withdrew the funds which was sent to the school management committee’s account. As soon as the matter came to the notice of Pakur DC he directed the DSE to register the FIR against the culprits.
