Class 8th student sent to juvenile home for 'mixing' poison in mid-day meal

Deoria, July 18 (UNI) A girl student was arrested and sent to juvenile home for allegedly mixing poison in mid day meal in her school in Bankata area here on Wednesday.
Police sources here said that 8th standard student Soni mixed poison in mid day meal on Tuesday, which was going to be served to all school children. The cook of Junior High School in Bauliya Pandey village Radhika Devi was serving mid day meal to students when Soni allegedly mixed poison in meal in the kitchen.
When Radhika Devi alarmed the principal Bhugunath Prasad about the incident he ordered not to serve the meal and sealed the kitchen. After information police officials rushed to the spot, and on complaint of principal case was registered against the accused girl student. Though accused denied all allegations and said that she was trapped into conspiracy.
