CJI attends Urdu Mushaira in Jammu

Jammu, Dec 4 (UNI) The Chief Justice of India Justice T S Thakur today attended Urdu Mushaira organized by the Department of Law and Justice and JK Academy of Art Culture and Languages here.
The Mushaira was presided over by noted poet Aresh Sahbayi while the poets including Balraj Balaji, Ruksana Jabeen, Shafaq Sopore, Ehtisham Mohtasham, Rubeena Mir, Ahmad Shinaas, Nazir Azad, Zahid Mukhtar, Shaam Taking, Shujaat Poonchi, Amin Banhali and others presented their poems. The session was conducted by noted announcer Pradeep Khanna.
The poets depicted the contemporary socio-political scenario through their poetry and also highlighted certain issues of the public through poetry and received huge applauses by the audience.
